An Exclusive Evening at Boann Distillery

25th of June (Thursday), Platin Road, Drogheda, Co. Meath

Dear Members,

On Thursday, 25th of June, we are heading to Drogheda for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes evening at the state-of-the-art Boann Distillery. Boann has been turning heads with their innovative mashbills and beautiful copper pot stills, and they have lined up a spectacular itinerary just for us.

The Itinerary:

6:00 PM | Departure: We will depart from Dublin City Centre (exact pickup point to be confirmed).
7:00 PM | Arrival & Welcome: We’ll kick off the evening at Boann with a custom welcome cocktail and a grazing table to line the stomachs.
The Main Event | Distillery & Warehouse Tour: * An in-depth tour of the distillery floor.
- A tasting of their exceptional new make spirit.
- A trip into the warehouse for multiple exclusive cask pulls straight from the wood.
The Grand Finale: We will finish the night with a sweet bite paired perfectly with a very special whiskey.
9:30 PM – 10:00 PM | Return Journey: We will depart the distillery and head back down to Dublin.

This promises to be an incredible night of great whiskey, technical insight, and excellent company. Because we will be doing direct cask pulls in the warehouse, spaces for this trip are strictly limited.

Booking opens on Wednesday 27th of May at 7.00pm. This will be a popular event, so please set a reminder to book on to secure your space. Midleton Masters Return to Dingle

For our first ever July tasting, IWS Dingle are both delighted & privileged to welcome back to the town, the centre of the Midleton universe: Kevin O Gorman, Master Distiller and Eric Ryan, Powers Whiskey Distiller.

We say privileged because it is only possible to get these legends together on just a very few occasions during the year and they have very kindly agreed to return to us for a fifth time because it is our tenth anniversary for which we are very grateful indeed (we won't ask them again for a few years). Each will explain just just what makes Midleton whiskey so unique and how they have built upon what was laid down before them. On previous occasions, this event has generated huge interest in both in Dick Mack's yard and here in Paul Geaney's and we are really looking forward to tasting what are always some brilliant and excellent whiskeys on this special occasion.

This is a unique opportunity to sample some whiskeys which we may never get to taste again. There will be some very cracking whiskeys to be imbibed including some amazing cask samples which will be truly special and perhaps an idea of what Irish Distillers have coming down the line!!!

There will also be a Midleton cocktail to begin, to whet your whistle so get there early and a raffle for a local charity during the event so please bring your cash!

We are again very grateful to the management & staff of Paul Geaney's Pub, Main Street, Dingle, for hosting this tasting for us. They themsleves put in a great deal of work on the evening.

We cannot implore you all enough to get booking asap as this event will sell out in record time. This will be a very special evening indeed.
