The last of our 'summer specials' takes place on Wednesday 26th August in the lofty surrounds of Soho's private deck and bar on the Grand Parade. A repeat of last years successful get-together, this is our nonchalant wave goodbye to the less than vintage summer of 2015!
With fine views of Leeside's beautiful cityscape, you'll enjoy fine American whiskeys, refreshing whiskey cocktails and tasty, southern inspired, barbecued food.
Last year we sampled the hand crafted small batch 'Woodford Reserve' bourbon, a selection of refreshing whiskey inspired cocktails and many of the more premium expressions emanating from the oldest registered distillery in the United States: the Jack Daniels distillery in Lynchburg Tennessee.
We've asked Alan Kavanagh, our gracious host of last year, to include a more in-depth whiskey cocktail master-class to his list of proceedings on this occasion. Other than his work as a Brands and Education Spirits Ambassador with Edward Dillon & Company Ltd., Alan also finds time to run and manage his beverage consultancy company 'Total Cocktail Solutions' and popular Facebook based 'Irish Cocktail Club', so you can be sure that the libations will be most pleasing to even the most discerning of palates.
