Echlinville Distillery - Dunville's Irish Whiskey

Given the latest update by the Government from Sept 6th 2021 organised indoor events may take place with capacity limits of 60% of venue capacity where all patrons are immune (fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 within previous 6 months) in line with sectoral guidance. Places are strictly limited to 25 on this occasion.

Some of you may recall that prior to the Covid 19 invasion of our country in 2020, our next Dingle tasting was to have been an Echlinville distillery tasting to be held in John Benny's pub.

Well, we try not to disappoint and in that vein, we have Dunvilles' superstar motorbike enthusiast, boy racer, arborist and world whiskey ambassador, Jarlath Watson coming once more to Dingle on Firiday September 10 to present their wares. As we all know, Echlinville have revived the Dunvilles brand and are producing some amazing whiskey on the opposite side of the country.

This will obviously be the first in-person tasting that the Dingle Chapter of the Irish Whiskey Society will have held since the pandemic began and therefore we respectfully request that everyone adheres to all of the Government and other guidelines in place, and any updated ones at the time of the event.

If you feel unwell stay at home, you will receive a refund on request.

You will be required to wear a face covering (when not seated), maintain good hand and respiratory hygiene and keep to your assigned table for the duration of the event.

Before a customer is allowed to enter the seating area the Proof of Immunity for each adult will be checked to verify eligibility, and checking your contact details for contact tracing before entry to the seating area.

Physical distancing of 2 metres should be maintained between tables. If you arrive in a group a maximum of 6 people may be seated together at a table. You will need to remain at your assigned table for the duration.

Face coverings must be worn by customers at all times other than when seated at their assigned table and please maintain good hand and respiratory hygiene. Do not adjust any windows or doors that have been opened for ventilation.

When signing up you will be asked to confirm your name and number, for contact traching and to agree to the Dingle Chapter In-Person Event Terms & Conditions.

We are doing this to safeguard everyone's health and would be grateful for your cooperation for this event. Should you desire, you may also bring your own tasting glass to this tasting.

We ask that you please support this event as if it is successful, we plan to follow it up with our annual Ambassadors tasting in October.

We would like to extend a very special thanks to John Benny for hosting this event for us.
