Lough Ree Tasting Thursday 28th July from 6:30 p.m.
For our next event we have teamed up with Lough Ree distillery.
We have a slightly different format that we hope you will enjoy!
To start the evening off we will be meeting at Moss Lane Pub, Pearse Street, Dublin 2 at 6:30 p.m. where you can have a catch up with your fellow members. We will be buying each ticket holder a pint (or equivalent).
At 7:30 p.m. we will board a bus and head for South Dublin to Lough Rees’ Distillery Gin School were we will hosted by Michael Clancy, Co-Founder of Lough Ree Distillery in Lanesborough, Co. Longford. He will present a selection from Lough Ree Distillery’s current portfolio, along with some upcoming product releases.
There will be a blind tasting element to this with 3 Irish Single Grain Whiskies with unspecified finishes for you to guess, along with a mystery drop off something very unusual.

Lough Ree Distillery have kindly donated a bottle each of The Bridge Saint’s Island Cask Strength (54.9% ABV 6 ½ year old Malt finished in very old solera Amontillado Dulce cask), Sling Shot Distilled Irish Gin and Zesty Citrus Vodka for a charity raffle on the night.
The return bus will leave at 10 p.m. and will arrive at Westmorland Street no later than 10:30 p.m. via a stop at Moss Lane for those that wish to go there. As some of you will be making onward travel connections in the city centre please don’t ask us to stop along the way as we don’t want to delay anyone getting home.
If travelling independently, please arrive in good time as we will start at 8pm sharp. Churchtown Stores is a short walk from the Dundrum Luas stop.
