We are kicking off 2023 with the match made in heaven, ‘a beer and a chaser’. This exploration of the variety of pairings will be led by Judith Boyle and is sure to satisfy all of those who enjoy beer with their whiskey or whiskey with their beer.

Judith Boyle is a lecturer in beverages at the Technological University of Dublin who specialises in beer, wine, spirits, mixed drinks and fermentation. She is an accredited Beer Sommelier with the UK Institute of Brewing and Distilling and is an award-winning member of the Guild of Beer Writers (UK).  Judith is passionate about the sensory evaluation of beverages, and is a judge for the Irish Food Awards (Blás na hÉireann), World Beer Awards, World Spirits Awards, The International Beer Challenge, The SIBA Awards, World Gin Awards and the World Liqueur Awards. • Michters Barrel Strength Rye with a rye beer
  

• Dunville’s Palo Cortado 21yo Single Malt with a nitro milk stout

• Celtic Cask Daichead a Trí (43) 2003 PX Finish with Flanders red ale
