Powerscourt Distillery: Fercullen Irish Whiskey Tasting

We are delighted to announce our Online June tasting with Powerscourt Distillery featuring some exceptional Fercullen Irish Whiskey expressions, as well as two exclusive samples from the maturation warehouse. Live Stream with Noel Sweeney, Master Distiller & Darragh Smyth, Assistant Distiller at Powerscourt Distillery on Tuesday the 30th of June at 7.30pm
Powerscourt Distillery is located in picturesque Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, on the the grounds of beautiful Powerscourt Estate. The formerly Old Mill House has been refurbished and since 2019 it has been the location of Distillery and Visitors Centre.
We're delighted our members will get to join in a tasting with a chance to sample some of the Fercullen Whiskey range, including the 10 YO Single Grain, 14 YO Single Malt and 18 YR Limited Release Single Malt.
We are also thrilled to have two very special samples from their maturation warehouse specially selected by Noel Sweeney and Darragh Smyth for this Irish Whiskey Society tasting. Thanks to the team at Powerscourt Distillery and Bart for organising this online event.

We will guided through the following expressions in the sample pack:
· Fercullen 10 Year Old: Single Grain aged in White oak and re-casked into mature Bourbon barrels (40%)
· Fercullen 14 Year Old: 14 Years matured exclusively in Bourbon barrels non-chill Filtered (46%)
· Fercullen 18 Year Old: 18 Years matured exclusively in Bourbon barrels non-chill Filtered (46%)
· Exclusive Sample No. 1
· Exclusive Sample No. 2

Booking opens on Thursday 11th of June at 12.00 noon. Please ensure your complete your Full Address and Eircode correctly to receive your sample pack. Bookings will close on Monday 15th of June at 12.00 noon to allow the samples to be shipped on time.
It is necessary to register and complete payment via PayPal (within 15 minutes) to secure your booking. Samples can only be shipped within the Republic of Ireland to Members of the Society.

The event LiveStream will begin at 7:30pm on Tuesday 30th of June and is for members only. You will receive a link to the live stream in advance of the tasting. Make sure you are ready with your whiskey tasting glass(es), water and think about any questions you might like to ask. You can email them in beforehand to: info@irishwhiskeysociety.com
