21 Year Old Tasting for 2021, Quiz night and Charity Raffle

We are delighted to announce a Special Online Tasting will take place on Thursday the 11th of February at 7.30pm.

Brian has sourced as many bottles as possible so we can have a big get together for our first mid-month tasting of 2021; focusing on four superb 21 Year Old Irish Whiskey expressions now the millennium has turned 21! Looking back over previous tastings all are Society member favourites and we're delighted to be able to offer these top shelf expressions side by side with some special guests:

• Redbreast Single Pot Still Whiskey Aged 21 Years (46% abv)
• Bushmills Single Malt Whiskey Aged 21 Years (40% abv)
• Kilbeggan Blended Grain & Malt Whiskey Aged 21 Years (40% abv)
• Knappogue Castle Single Malt Whiskey 21 Years Old (46% abv)

We will be joined on the night to share each of these expressions with guests including Gerard Garland Whiskey Ambassador Irish Distillers for Redbreast 21; Seamus Lowry Whiskey Educator & Key A/c Manager Proximo Spirits for Bushmills 21; Michael Egan US National Brand Ambassador Irish Whiskey Beam Suntory for Kilbeggan 21.

We'll also have a bit of fun to test your whiskey wits by hosting an online quiz during the evening with questions from the presenters and some special guests from the Irish Whiskey industry. For the top three winners we have some Irish Whiskey Society Merchandise Packs including a sample of our last IWS Kilbeggan Pure Pot Still release.

The last part of the night we will hold a members raffle in aid of the Capuchin Day Centre. Raffle tickets will be allocated to Members based on donations to the centre.
