IWS Virtual Tasting
Our June mid-month event will be a Chocolate & Whisk(e)y Pairing. Brian has been working together with Kelli and Patrick Marjolet from Proper Chocolate to come up with a tasting to tantalise your taste buds! Together with James Kilgannon Teeling Distillery Brand Ambassador, Derek King Powers Global Brand Ambassador and Paul Tuohy Brand Ambassador Glenmorangie (LVMH) we're in for a superb night.
The packs are designed to be shared by two. There are three pairings; each pairing chocolate bar is 30g and each whisk(e)y sample is 30ml. There is also a limited edition 50g Barrel Ages Chocolate Bar included.
The tasting pack will include:
- Powers 1817 Release - LVA 200th Anniversary Bottling (30ml)
& Proper Chocolate Pared 30g bar.
- Teeling Brabazon Series 3 - PX Finish (30ml)
& Proper Chocolate Pared 30g bar.
- Glenmorangie Signet
& Proper Chocolate Paired 30g bar.
- Proper Chocolate Teeling Whiskey Barrel-aged 50g bar.
- Proper Chocolate Cococa Nibs (small sample).
The logistics and packing tacks for this tasting are very involved so we have a limited number of packs available. If we sell out join the waiting list and we will try our best to repeat this for those interested if there is sufficient demand.

The lineup includes some superb expressions and hand made chocolates, packed for two people to share. The price of the tasting will be €42.50 to cover cost of the whiskey, chocolate, packaging and shipping.
Brian will be preparing all the packs during the week and you will receive an email to let you know when your pack has been dispatched. Please ensure to complete the event registration delivery form correctly to ensure your sample pack is delivered on time.

The virtual tasting will begin at 7:30pm on Thursday 10th of June you will receive a link to in advance of the tasting. If you cannot make it on the night let us know and a private link will be made available to allow you to play it back afterwards. Make sure you are ready with your whiskey tasting glass(es), water and think about any questions you might like to ask on the night or you can email them in beforehand to: info@irishwhiskeysociety.com
